Evaluation
Process
The first thing i did was open a logic pro page, tick the stereo page set midi in a new track open mixer then open a blank reason page and have slave mode on then go back to logic. Set reason stereo to l/r (left,right) and then open a Dr. rex (loop player) in reason, to test if you have done it right click preview on Dr. rex. next step i did was learn to sync the black swan to logic so i could play my reason piece and it would play logic the video and music, all together. Once i was ready to start my pice of music i asked terry if it was ok to use bits of other song in mine (i never got around to doing that) he side it was ok as long as i don’t just use some one else’s song. now i have started my song and i am doing ok the only problem i have at this time is what to wright about on reason? every week i had little bit more and more added to my song by the end of the last week of school i had pretty much finished my song and didn’t really have much more that i wanted to add to my song. I got Terry to look at my song he side the middle needed adjusting and i agreed with him so i got to work on that next. the first week back at school was a slow week for working on this, i just went through my blogs and made sure every thing was ok and evaluated, only a little bit of reason this week mostly typing work though.
Problems Encountered
My first problem was missing the first lesson working on this project i missed all the instructions on how to sync up logic to reason and had to ask for help, it wasn’t as easy as i thought it would be either. I got it wrong a few times until a class mate came and showed me. Another problem i faced was the composing to the video and making the music in time with the video, i didn’t understand but managed to pick it up, i think that that is one of the week points in my song, the timing is a little bit of in some parts of my song. Another problem i find with my work is that i feel my descriptions are a little bit brief on my tumblr, i think i might need to go back and add more detail to my posts on tumblr.
Solved Problems
I managed to catch up from the first lesson, and learn about logic. I learnt to sync my music to black swan.

to day i am working more on my evaluation more because it is due in tomorrow at period 5.

Process
The first thing i did was learn logic, and how to sync it to reason. The second thing we needed to do was make sure that they where properly synced together and it all worked in time together. Next we had to learn the black swan video with and with out sound and watch them a number of times. All along we needed to be posting, we had to post each step and every time we did some thing new or changed some thing we needed to post a screen shot and a small description of what we did or changed. Then it was time to start reason, we had used reason before so it was easier to get started because we had experience with it before. But reason wasn’t as easy to use as the first time because we needed to compose it to the black swan clip and make sure that it all matched the dances and changes that happened in the small video. At the start and end of every lesson we needed to post what we did and what we are about to do as well as screen shots to back up our text or picture that we post. All thats left after that is to evaluate cheek every thing is ok and then hand it in.

today black swan complete black swan with screen shots. thursday evaluation. friday hand in, due date 13/5/11.
this is what i did in the first period of this weeks double period i still have another hour to work on my music more.
